Make sure you catch the first three seasons before the fourth season hits Netflix. In case you’re unfamiliar with the storyline of “Babylon Berlin”, have a quick look. “Babylon Berlin” is a crime-thriller series that is based on the novel composed by Volker Kutscher. The story revolves around a police detective of Berlin, Gereon Rath. He is shown struggling with the guilt of his brother’s death during the first World War. The next main character of the story is the first female administrative assistant of the police department, Charlotte Ritter.

Both seasons of “Babylon Berlin” were aired somewhere in January 2018 whereas the third took a long way to hit Netflix. Around January 2020, the third season came and thrilled the audience. Who are the cast members of the upcoming season of “Babylon Berlin”?

The two main leads, Liv Lisa and Volker Bruch will be returning for the upcoming season. They will continue their roles of Charlotte Ritter and Gereon Rath respectively. Furthermore, Hannah Herzsprung will return as Anno and Jens Harzer will pursue her role as Anno’s wife Helga Rath.

Mišel Matičević will probably catch up with his role as the Armenian, who is an underworld criminal and owner of a nightclub. Ronald Zehrfeld will play the role of Walter Weintraub, an associate of Armenian.

Some other cast members are Leoine Benesch, Karl Markovics, Christian Friedel, Benno Fürmann and Meret Becker. Additionally, one new cast member, Mark Ivanir is confirmed to join the prior team and make the upcoming season more interesting. The storyline of “Babylon Berlin” revolves around the main lead, Gereon Rath. He is an inspector whose mission is to destroy criminal gangs. Furthermore, we have news about Gereon’s brother, Anno, who died during the First World War. Season 3 stressed Anno’s return. After the return, there are numerous complications popping up between Anno’s wife and Gereon. In the upcoming season, we will witness how things change between Gereon and Helga. When will Season 4 of “Babylon Berlin” hit Netflix?

Unfortunately, there is no official release date nor a trailer available for the fourth season. However, season 4 was set to release in December 2020. But then the pandemic happened and we had to wait longer for the follow-up season. In early 2021, the show started its filming and in the following May, the production team confirmed its production status.
