Previously, Pakistani Minister of Home Affairs Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that the fence along the Durand line was more than 90 percent complete and he promised to be completed, but Afghan defense minister in an interview with national radio and Afghan television (RTA), said that so far Pakistan Allowed to complete the fence.

We have proposed this issue to the Ministers’ Council, and leadership. Consultation is taking place in this problem, and we will act on any guidance given to us by leadership. We have not allowed anyone to the fence so far,” he said.

Meanwhile, residents who live near the Durand line area said they did not consider the fence on the line of Durand to be accepted and they asked the Taliban to take serious action to prevent the border fence de facto with Pakistan, reporting news.

Muhibullah Gharwal is a resident of one of the most remote Kunar villages near the Durand line.

He said the fence along the line was being carried out unilaterally and Pakistan should not be allowed to complete the fence.
