Malaysia to procure 18 Tejas jets from India; US, Australia, Indonesia show interest

The government told parliament on Friday that Malaysia bought 18 TEJAS Jet Temporary US, Argentina, Australia, Egypt, Indonesia and the Philippines also showed an interest in getting a Light Fighter (LCA).

Notification of three ‘positive indigenization lists’ of a total of 310 service items and two ‘positive indigenization lists’ of 2,958 items from the Defense Public Sector Business (DPSUS), which will have an embargo on imports outside the schedule shown to them.
