Jaishankar, French Counterpart Le Drian Discuss Raging Ukraine Crisis

The Minister of External Affairs Subrahmananyam Jaishankar met with his partner France Jean Yves Le Drian on the first day of a three-day visit to France. Jaisankar and French Foreign Minister exchanged judgments about raging the situation of Ukraine, with French President Emanuel Macron conducting severe diplomatic lifts to resolve the crisis diplomatically.

Jaisankar is expected to call French President Emmanuel Macron. With France, one of the closest strategic allies of India, Jaishankar is expected to hold a discussion with his colleagues to share critical and developing technologies. Defense cooperation between the two countries is discussed in strategic dialogue, which is expected to take place next month in India.
