British Teenager Left Partially Paralysed After Bison Attack In US Nature Reserve

A British woman was left partially paralyzed after being carried by Bison who threw 15 feet into the air in the US Nature Reserve.

Amelia Dean, 19, was attacked by a large American male bison during hiking with a friend through a custer state park, South Dakota, seven weeks ago.

The couple added that although their daughter’s travel insurance had paid a femoral arterial bypass, the insurance company had refused to pay for a specialist’s nerve injury examination.

The teenager was attacked on the second day of the US land trip, towards the end of the year break after traveling around Europe. He will start studying at the University of Edinburgh next month.
