Russian-Ukraine War Highlights: The Russian-Ukraine War has entered 71 on Thursday and Russia showed no signs of stopping its attack. Moscow has bombed and fired on Ukraine every day. Thousands of people have been killed – without specific quantities, a large number of properties, buildings have been destroyed.
Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky asked UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to help save people trapped in Azovstal Steel Works in Mariupol. “The lives of people who remain in danger. Everyone is important to us. We ask for your help to save them,” Zelensky was quoted as saying in an official statement.
He also told me that a Ukraine television reporter who registered after the Russian invasion was killed in battles outside the northeast city of Izyum.
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said that the third operation was being carried out to evacuate civilians from the Port City of Ukraine, Mariupol and the Azovstal Steel Factory which was surrounded.
French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday said that his government would offer 2 billion-US assistance for Ukraine.
France released 100 million euros for humanitarian assistance, which was used specifically to finance international organizations and NGOs in the field. Already, 800 tons of humanitarian and medical goods have been sent to Ukraine and to countries in the region”, Macron said.
